Congratulations on an outstanding season and welcome to the 2022 USSSA Fastpitch National Championships. The National Championship Tournament will be held in Mansfield, Texas. Games will be played July 6-9, 2023.This tournament will offer the following ages/divisions: 8u Open (Coach Pitch) and 10uA/B/C.
The USSSA Fastpitch program will use a 5 game format in its National Championship Tournament. Teams will be placed into pools randomly and play a round robin. All teams will be seeded into double elimination championship bracket following pool play. Seeding will be based on pool finish. The exact format of the tournament, e.g., number of games, number of teams in each pool, etc., will be set by the tournament director following USSSA Fastpitch guidelines as approved by the USSSA Fastpitch National Committee. To guarantee your spot in the tournament, your team will need to complete the online entry process. All entries must be made through the www.usssa.com website. You will be required to submit your entry and payment online. At this point it will be subject to approval by your state director. Once approved, your entry will be considered complete for this National Championship Event. Official entry and payment process must be completed no later than June 30, 2023. The entry fee for 2023 will be $877 (This includes all umpire fees and balls and 3 Coaches passes) All team rosters must be on the USSSA website, www.usssa.com, and all teams must adhere to all rules and regulations as outlined in the current edition of the USSSA Fastpitch playing rules and by-laws. All players shall have proof of age in possession of their team manager at all times, which must be verified by a government issued document that identifies the player by name, gender and birth date. MVP of Pool Games: After each pool game the head coach will award a player from the other team a MVP Award. Official Playing Rules:
All playing rules shall be governed by the official USSSA Fastpitch softball rule book and national by-laws. Note that the rule book online at www.usssa.com will always supersede the latest printed version if a discrepancy exists. National Championship Merchandise USSSA National Championship apparel and souvenirs will be sold at the Opening Camp and throughout the tournament. Tentative Schedule Wednesday July 5th Opening Ceremonies Big League Dreams 5:30-8:30 Thursday July 6th Time: 8:00 AM Pool Play Begins (All Teams Play at least 2 Games) Coaches Check-IN (Early Bird Gate Pass Pick-Up) Friday July 7th Time: 8:00 AM Pool Play Continues Pool Play Concludes & Bracket Play Begins Saturday July 8th Time: 8:00 AM Bracket Play Continues Sunday July 9th Time: 8:00 AM Bracket Play Concludes Bracket schedules will not be mailed out in advance. Pool Play will be posted no later than Monday. Based on Pool play you will be seeded into double elimination bracket that will start Friday afternoon/night. Player, coach and other pre-tournament items will also be distributed at the team check-in. Note that all times are subject to change. Please verify itinerary during team check-in. Once the tournament begins, managers must check the main bracket board for any changes in game times, field assignments or other items related to tournament play or functions.
